Our Team Kelly CartierKelly Cartier began helping clients accumulate and manage wealth in 1997 when she joined A.G. Edwards. While working with clients at A.G. Edwards, Kelly became a branch manager and a Vice President of Investments. After several years as a branch manager, and the mergers of A.G. Edwards, Wachovia Securities, and Wells Fargo Advisors, Kelly decided it was time to find a different platform - one where she could feel truly independent. In 2009, Kelly opened Cartier Financial. As a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative, Kelly can offer her clients a wide array of products and services to help meet their unique needs.Kelly holds the Certified Financial Planner™ designation. This designation requires an applicant to complete and maintain significant requirements in education, experience, and ethical conduct. In addition, the applicant must pass a comprehensive 2 day, 10 hour exam. Kelly also holds the Series 7, 8, 9, 23, and 63 registrations, as well as state insurance licenses. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.A. in English and a Master's in Business Administration.Kelly grew up in Clermont and enjoys giving back to the community. She’s served numerous years on the Board of the Community Foundation of South Lake. During this time, she has acted as both Secretary and Vice President of the Executive Committee and as a member of both the Fiscal Committee and the Executive Committee. Kelly is also a founding board member of The Greater Clermont Cancer Foundation and currently serves as External Director. Kelly is also a big supporter of the Companions for Courage and currently serves on the Board of Directors. Kelly also enjoys spending time with family and is fortunate to have her mom, brother, nephews, one niece and 2 great nephews all live in the Greater Clermont area. Patti FreehlingPatti Freehling joined Cartier Financial in July 2009. Prior to joining Cartier Financial, she worked with Kelly at A.G. Edwards, Wachovia Securities, and Wells Fargo Advisors. Patti held many titles during her corporate career, including sales assistant, operations manager and systems administrator.Patti's goal at Cartier Financial is to provide exceptional client service. Patti serves as Cartier Financial's office manager. Patti holds the Series 7 and 66 registrations.Patti has been married to her husband, Dave, for over 30 years. They have two grown children and two grandchildren. Patti enjoys being a grandmother and spending time with her family. Brittany RoseAfter getting to know Kelly through charitable work with The Greater Clermont Cancer Foundation, Brittany Rose joined Cartier Financial as an intern in January 2015. After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a B.A. in Finance and Biology, Brittany accepted a full time position with the firm. Brittany believes customer service and listening to clients is of utmost importance. As a Financial Advisor and Investment Advisor Representative, Brittany works with helping clients create the lives they want for them and their families. She strives to cultivate overall financial direction and growth for clients. Brittany holds her Florida insurance licenses, Series 7 & 66 licenses, and is currently working toward her CFP. She is dedicated to continuing her education, staying abreast of changes in the industry. Brittany has lived in Clermont for over 20 years and is a graduate of East Ridge High School. She lives locally with her three children, Peyton, Nolan, and Kinley, and favorite pooch, Ranger. When out of the office, you can find Brittany on the soccer and basketball sidelines cheering on her boys, spending time with her family, and giving back to her community. Bri RicciBri Ricci joined Cartier Financial in September 2018. Prior to joining Cartier Financial, she worked in sales and the accounts receivable department for a local waste company. With numerous years of customer service experience, Bri joined the Cartier Financial team as a Client Service Rep. She plans to further education in the financial industry while providing exceptional service to the Cartier Financial family of clients. She has lived in Clermont for over 20 years and is also a local to Downtown Clermont with her son, Jeremiah, and their pup, Diesel.You may catch Bri riding her bike or walking her pooch near Waterfront Park, playing basketball with her son, or on the sidelines cheering on #22 during the football season. Gabby and BaileyGabby and Bailey are an integral part of Cartier Financial. When in the office, their main focus is to greet each and every client with a wag of their tails and happy faces.Gabby was adopted from the South Lake Animal League in 2009. The Animal League requires someone be at home for their newly adopted puppies. In order to adopt Gabby, Patti had to be able to bring Gabby to work. Gabby still enjoys coming to work and many of our clients look for her when they visit.Kelly adopted Bailey from the South Lake Animal League as a puppy in 2012. Bailey loves her job at Cartier Financial and looks forward to coming to work every day.Both dogs love their time at the office, and invite everyone to come by with treats. ShelbyShelby, like Bailey and Gabby, comes to work every day to greet clients and take care of any extra treats clients need to give away. If she doesn't come out to greet you, you'll probably find her under Kelly's desk, and when you sit down for your appointment, she'll stick her head out from under the desk and wait for some attention.When she's not at work, Shelby likes to go for long walks with Kelly and Bailey. She also enjoys swimming and playing ball and frisbee. She looks forward to seeing you soon.
